Our Spring/Summer 2012 collection Inherent seems almost sprouted from the very ground we walk on. Materials and colours are carefully chosen to celebrate the unspoiled, inherent beauty of nature, creating shoes that will evolve and form a unique expression over time.
We have chosen natural materials like undyed leathers, faded canvases and details like metal trims in raw brass instead of the more common metal alloys. The materials are carefully selected for their inherent, natural beauty and their ability to allow a slow ageing and patina. Hand picked to heighten your feel of a collection not only made to stand the test of time but to register time itself. Ensuring that your Gram shoes will always be unique.

We never have and never will make shoes like everyone else. Gram celebrates craftsmanship and strong, personal looks and we are never afraid to use materials uncommonly used in shoes. The collection for S/S12 is no exception. Washed linen�s, undyed vegetable tanned leathers, brass and faded canvas portrayed in a sober colour scheme of khaki, eggshell, sand and nude against accents of brick, washed navy and bleached red create the unique Gram look.

The collection also celebrates true craftsmanship with the entire lightweight-line being precision hand lasted, and the 383g, 420g and 380g vegetable tan shoes being beautifully adorned with punched hole patterns all done by hand.
